I would imagine it would only be charged against the person you're sending to since you're not actually using your phone to send. I love the view but please get rid of the crybaby who thinks she knows it all and knows nothing.I have stopped watching because of Elizabeth if she wants to voice her views send her packing on the road to no where with Mccain and Palin.For the last 2years i have tried but sorry cant take her voice and tears. I look forward to the hot topics on the View every morning, but I have been disappointed throughout the election process because they have not been able to express their views after a debate yet. Every time someone tries to say something, Elizabeth cuts them off and tries to talk over them. The other three ladies at least can listen to what Elizabeth has to say and even compliment both candidates in different areas eventhough it is clear who their candidate of choice is. I look at Elizabeth as Palin, an attack dog because all she does is attack Obama. She also only states half of the facts. Whenever they talk about Palin, she says what about Obama. Whenever, they talk about McCain she says but Obama. She has never once said what about Biden. In fact, she has never spoke negatively about McCain, Palin, or Biden. If you notice, every time someone speaks about Obama she gets this look on her face. Makes me wonder if race is a factor for her. Maybe it isn't because when her and Rosie were going at it about Bush and Iraq it wasn't a race thing so maybe I shouldn't have said that. However, she has never said anything about how McCain did not shake Obama's hand after the debate or how McCain referred to Obama as "that one" but if the roles were reversed she would have been the first one to bring it up. I personally don't think Rosie should have been kicked off of the View and I don't think Whoopi, Joy, or Sherri should be kicked off neither. I am tired of everyone saying poor Elizabeth because she knows when to play the pitiful role and it is past time for her to GO!

They are a disgrace to the female population...and Barbara Walters has reached her peak and her brain cells are dying. The only one with a brain on her shoulders instead of an ASS is Elisabeth! I see this attitude that is going on, on the view it all stems from the election. When they are not talking about the election, they appear to very friendly with each other. But I have decided to STOP LOOKING AT THE view because it just seem like something is going to be said and the friendship that I see at times will be destroyed. yes I agree that everyone has a right to their opinion, but Elizabeth has to take this whole thing personal and get very upset even when there is a debate. I'm starting to HATE THE SHOW. Sorry, and I have been watching for a long TIME. But I have concluded that I will no longer watch this show.

This whole show has gotten out of touch with the rest of the world. I happen to be one of those people that listen to each side of the issues discussed on this show and the four (that includes Barbara Walters) have shown who they are for and it has gotten to the point that I don't care to watch these women discuss anything. They remind me of high school girls and their little clicks!!!!! Disgusting show this has turned into. Opinions I can accept, but these women (4) have gone too far. ABC should be ashamed of these women. Liz keep up the good work!

I think Joy is on a slippery slope lately too. I didn't see her Larry King, but her attitude on The View has become very intense. I think she may be overly passionate about this election. But I also think that Joy has a low threshold for foolishness, and some of the things that they discuss and debate is just a lot of foolishness.

But I think Joy being jealous of Sarah Palin is really reaching. Why should Joy be jealous of Gov. Palin? What does she have that Joy would want? I don't get it.

I'm sorry, but I wasn't aware of the fact that The View was supposed to be Democratic. Also, I don't think they profess to be Democratic. It's not as if the are delivering the REAL news. It's more about entertainment, a little news, and basically it's all OPINIONS. Everyone has one. The problem with Liz is the way she expresses her opinions. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but she seems very HIGH-SCHOOL with some of her statements and responses. Sometimes I expect her to say "take that... nan-nanny-boo-boo!". LOL. It makes me turn away or tune her out. I feel sorry for her sometimes, but not because she's the only so-called Conservative on the panel. She wasn't always this way. What happened to her... Did Rosie let the big baby out of Liz?

Yes, you're right. It is personal to me too. I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop something to give 'those folk' a distraction. Something to say, "na, na, na, na, na" about, you know, to say, "we've got something too!"

I'm just about convinced that greater than 50% of 'those folk' would have America continue in this downward spiral--corporate world plowing through the economy because the Republicans de-regulated everything and don't give a rat's a-- about people unless it comes from corporations; continuing to loose all opportunity of getting a better chance at a new way of life. They haven't had enough yet and don't want to take a chance on something different.

Need to take a good look at Joy. You talk about Elisabeth getting all choked up, I think Joy is the worst on there. Elisabeth can't get a word at times. Joy was on Larry King talking about the View today. I hear jealous when she talks about Sarah Palin. Making fun of her eye glasses and other things. Let it go Joy, you talk alot behind her back ,and bash her. I like to see on the View with Joy and Sarah together, and watch JOY CHOCKED UP......

First let me say, I don't think your son should have been kicked off the bus.

I'm sure I do need to research what races have been slaves throughout history in the US. I also completely understand Liz's point about who can and cannot say the "N-Word".

Maybe I wasn't clear in my post. I'm not saying that I agree with either one of them, although I'm more inclined to lean towards Whoopi's side, I actually agree with Bill who said everyone involved in the discussion was right. I do believe that they all have valid points for consideration, however Elisabeth doesn't not seem to be able to listen and comprehend what other's have to say... not just in this instance, but in practically every situation when someone doesn't agree with her. It's always her way or no way. I'm just happy that she wasn't able to get away with it so easily today.

I understand not using the term AT ALL! However, I think we have to understand the world as it is... sure you might not use the term, your son only repeated what he heard, and again, the punishment he received was wrong, but I can guarantee you that at any given time the "N-Word" will be spit out at me, my children or my husband by someone with venomous intent. It has happened to me! It has happened to my husband MANY times.

I have 2 sons, and I worry about their well-being and safety even more than my girls simply because they will one day be black men in this country. I even worry about my adult brother's safety. So, it's not just an "N-Word" issue. It's much broader than that. The "N-Word" is superficial... it's a symptoms of an illness.

I am sorry but I am one of the evil white girls that thinks it patently ridiculous to have words in our language that are only ok for some to say them. Its either good
or bad - period.

My son was yanked off the bus as a kindergartner because he copied some of his black friends and said "my nigger". the kid was five and had never heard the word before. He was following the example set by black children (who followed the example of their families). He actually thought it meant friend or buddy! How do I explain to my child that the word is bad for some but good for others?

I absolutely detest Hasslebeck but on this - she is right.
